Budgies

The Budgie design is a favourite; the budgies themselves have attitude and the little finches dance around them amongst the floral sprigs.

“I really enjoyed designing this pattern, it started, as all my designs do, from a drawing. The exciting part of the process I generally deploy is printing the images randomly on the print table until I sense a merging of pattern and colour that may form the basis for a design.  This experimental stage leads on to a more structured process which is not complete until the design ‘sings’”.
